  • They recently found more children on the property of that residential school. Thank you for covering this.

  • I grew up in the prairie Lands of Alberta and our Social class covered Residential schools extensively for over seven years before we finally moved onto another topic. The younger generation in the country side is definitely getting the Indigenous history taught to them, but I’m unsure if it’s in the big cities yet. The atrocities are well known in most of the central provinces.

  • Thank you for using your platform to cover this. There is only going to be more bodies found, and it's absolutely devastating.

  • Sadly they just found more at another school. The number is now 319 children

  • I don’t think I’ve ever seen her bothered as much as she is in this video. You can see she really feels for the children

  • Yup. I'm half, my mother is full. She was very saddened but not suprised when this was found. Kids would try to runaway, freeze to death or get killed by polar bears.. Or beat to death and even starved. Kids. Awful.

  • Religion is awful but when given power with no real government oversight. This was a religious bordomg school that our indigenous population as North America. America has these horrors as well but is more fresh, as these schools didn't end until until around '78.

  • As a Canadian, because everyone I know including myself is essentially an immigrant of color and had to face systemic discrimination and assimilation in the school system, this whole thing for us has been impossible to digest and is completely overwhelming...we know the government will do nothing about this. I don't even like talking about this because it is incredibly emotionally overwhelming. Over 200 bodies...I'm not interested in an explanation I want swift justice

  • Ninaskomitin 🙏 thank you for covering this 💕

  • Your reaction was more or less the same as mine. I was horrified and speechless. Absolutely lost for words. I knew about the history of Residential Schools but I didn't know the extent of the violence in those places until the bodies were found. As a settler in British Columbia, I am utterly ashamed of this history. We need to do better. We need to listen and we need to do everything we can to support our Indigenous friends.

  • Thank you so much for opening this opportunity for healing, my grandma survived but the culture was destroyed. Thank you for giving us a voice for the children that didn't Survive 🙏💔

  • My maternal grandma was a victim of the residential schools in Quebec, she's a lot of different culture and language and her family! She was Cree She came from a big family Lost her native language and could then only speak French, and married an immigrant from Ireland who refused to allow her to speak French eventually it came to the point that her sisters would write her letters in French but since she had lost both her native tongue and the French language she could no longer read her sister's letters and would just sit and cry every time the mail came. And my mother didn't even know she was native until her children did the family research, they Robbed not just her of her culture, but her children and me one of her grandchildren of our heritage and culture. Anyone out there know of a Cree settlement in Quebec, in a place they called three fingers Quebec? There wasn't a reservation there they stole the children from a small community and then decimated and erased that community Has anyone out there heard of it, three fingers Quebec a Cree settlement but was not a reserve was a community prior to the reservation I'm really sick of my head out here I can't find any information I just want to get to know my people, emotional damage they did to my grandmother prevented her from talking about it. I'm hoping someone somewhere out there will read this and maybe I'll find my family 🇨🇦💔💔💔

  • Thank you for covering this, seems like no one big is talking about this. There's even more residential schools in the US both Canada and US need to unearth the crimes of the past that indigenous communities are still having trauma from. My great grandparents are survivors of US residential schools I'm glad they made it out alive, but it also made them fear being Lakota cuz white men could take them or their kids. Another thing I don't think ppl realize is these kids' graves were hidden cuz they were highly likely victims of catholic murder and csa and racism.

  • Just wondering if you are aware of the American Indian boarding schools that where also Americanizing? I'm Canadian and while investigating this disturbing issue further (going down the rabbit hole) I discovered the Americans also thought this to be the thing to do. On an update about the Canadian school finds, Carlisle, PA was added to the list which is another reason I looked into the connection. There are just no words to right this tragedy, heartbreaking.

  • Canada f*cking search all other schools too! These poor babies

  • As young as three?! What could a three year old do to you? (or any of the other kids for that matter) But how do you look at a three year and hurt them then bury them in a ditch? I'm so done with this planet

  • I live in Canada, and now a days, schools don't take this lightly. We learn about these things, and the week the remains were found, we were encouraged to wear orange in memory of them. Thankfully, schools are not like this. I believe there investigating the identities of the kids. the families deserve justice.

  • as a native american from the saint marys reservation in fredricton new brunswick canada this shit has been going on forever we have literally been forced to integrate nobody says shit. thank you my gram was one of the kids taken and she was raped and almost killed i had three white kids and a black kid try to drown me when i was young this is it we are all dead the most successful genocide in history

  • As a first nations person of Australia, Thankyou, this issue isnt exclusive to indigenous groups in canada, but also, indigenous americans, australians, many aboriginal people forced to assimilate. To my canadian cousins, we see you, we love you

  • …and the Catholic Church is still blocking the release of records that would help this process. CBC news has more on this and is a better source though it is interesting to hear the US take on the issue.

  • It absolutely disgusts me that this type of stuff has happened not only in Canada but all over the world with indigenous populations, the Americas, Australia, Sápmi, etc etc. It’s awful

  • Even thinking about this makes me so upset. They never got to live their lives. They never got to see their family again. Their language and names were taken away from them, beaten out of them. As a native I'm glad you talked about this. More people need to know. The Canadian government tries to brush it off like it was so long ago, like it was in the past. But there's people alive today who lived through it, who are feeling the affects of trauma it left them. They act like they don't hurt native people anymore, but they still do. I bet you under and around all those "schools" there are hundreds more of children. Children who died a horrific and upsetting death. In Canada, at least where I am, all the flags have been lowered. Schools have decorated the outsides and insides of them with orange (often heart shapes) and with the phrase, "every child matters". I hope someone, who doesn't know a lot about the situation, sees it. And it sticks.

  • imagine how quickly this would be swept under the rug in the US...WAIT A MINUTE...IT IS

  • My aunty was in a residential school and she lost all her siblings and doesn’t remember her parents. She won’t talk about it because of how traumatic her experience there was.

  • Damn, this truly hurts my soul.

  • The number are only going to get higher 💔

  • im unsure how much the authorities can actually do?? i looked it up a bit and i MAy be wrong.. if i am jus let me know, but i heard that the bodies seemed like theyd been there a WHILE.. like.. 60 - 70 YEARS theyd been dead for apparently.. i dont know if that was ALL of them or SOME of them or whatever, but yeah thats what i got from the situation

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH!!

  • It's happened here in the U.S as well, and the gov is admitting to knowing about UFOs but still not willing to admit the horrors, indecency, and wrongdoings it has done to us .

  • That is so heartbreaking, I wonder why no one said anything.

  • So a 3rd school with unmarked graves has been found, I'm guessing pretty much EVERY place those child death prisons were will have a "hush hush" place they hid the bodies of toddlers and children they killed or raped to death. This will be coast to coast.

  • what's sad is a lot of the adults in canada who aren't teachers or didn't have kids telling them about residential schools don't know about residential schools existence. residential schools didn't come up until maybe the late 2000s, most likely the early 2010s. people think this is shocking and as someone who's always had this taught to me in school, i just find it so sad that people JUST started listening. i myself am not indeginous, but my friend is cree and her grandparents went to a residential school. they didn't just bury them, they threw their bodies in lakes, burnt them in incinerators. which means there's probably thousands more bodies. which is horrifying. it boggles my mind that people view the indeginous as low life addicts when these racists can't even consider the trauma they've faced. residential schools is just one source of trauma they've faced. there's so much more no one knows shit about. this was a genocide. why else do the indeginous make only 5% (or less) of our current population?

  • Where they're supposed to be safe. This is unspeakable...

  • This is just the bottom of the surface. 4,000 children in the Foster system in the US go missing every year. Asking the government to do something about will get you nowhere it's the people in government that are responsible in the first place. Children are used in SRA and it's the elite government doing it because they get away it with no one to stop them. This is happening world-wide and it goes way deeper than just these 215 kids. We have real evil going on this world and things are just getting worse. This has been going on since the dawn of time and it's one of the most horrendous things in human history.

  • There was over 100 residential schools in this country.

  • This sadness was discovered in the city I have called home since the fall of 1994! There is so much heartache and sadness going though our city at the moment! We have been giving as much support as we can! ❤❤💔💔❤❤💔💔

  • I don't cry easily, but this had me in absolute tears. How incredibly horrific...those poor kids..

  • Can you please speak on Shannon creepshow art? I think as someone so respected by her fan base it would be really helpful. Thanks if you do. If not I’m sure you have your reasons just have a good day. Edit: good video also justice is deserved. I just wanted to bring up the Shannon thing but wanted to make sure to say this video is very good.

  • She doesn't owe you a creepshow art video! Stop asking for one.

    • I thought they said she Tweeted she was going to do one. Not saying she owes anyone anything, just what I read

  • hey, im subscribed but i dont get your videos up in my subscriptions feed. just thought i would mention that

  • We need to talk about Shannon aka 'CreepShow Art'

  • Thank you i live in Canada and this right needs to be talk about

  • Where is your creepshow art video.....

    • Giulia is taking some time off to recover off of the situation. The video will come when she will feel better. Be patient.

    • i agree please talk about shannon

  • Giulia looks and sounds like she's going to cry and I don't like it, I want to fix it. This is so horrible

  • Your community is exceptional. Not one racist excuse in the comments. Good for you 💘 Thank you for covering this.

  • Alot of the facts haven't discovered yet

    • nicolai stuve When the churches get involved it’s always something bad... funny, isn’t it? :)

    • But the government and the churches dont want to say anything so it's probably something bad.

  • I love this video! Hoping you are going to talk about the creep art show situation soon. Take care love and keep up the good work

  • How is it that so many children went missing at there was not an uproar at the time?!?!

    • Because they are indigenous. No one listens to them, not even now. They have been speaking up about disappearances for years now - no one believed them then. And now, a lot of people think this has happened "too long ago" for them to care, take action, or feel bad for these communities. It's heartbreaking and enraging.

  • Cultural genocide, absolutely horrible. Indigenous children fill Canada's foster care system today as well. Extremely sad. Also, red wig was a nice touch. Not sure if it was on purpose but red dresses are symbolic for all the missing indigenous women which I'm sure now will include the children.

  • The people that did this, some of them are still alive. They need to be held accountable! The only silver lining in this is that the families of these children will finally know what happened. The schools would just tell the families they ran away. These families will know now where their children are. (I’m not saying anything about this is good please understand that). Hopefully this will help more investigations take place and more children found. And maybe some people held accountable for what they did to these children. And as a Canadian, I am more than happy for my taxes to pay for these investigations and for each and every child to be tested, their families found and their remains given back. I want my tax money paying for all of it!

  • As a half Moroccan amazigh... this beyond sad! May their souls rest in peace!

  • This has happened all over the world.

  • Hey Giulia, i know you dont do this kind of videos and want to stay away of the drama but if you know anything from Shannons situation please comment since i have been made aware of you being good friends with Shannon. You dont have to but i think it could give perspective about this situation.

    • @Local2s qu33r This was the latest video of hers so its more likely to her to see this comment so go be triggered elswhere.

    • It’s disgusting of you to comment this on a video about the genocide of natives, shame on you

    • @Erica Clacher How is that related to Giulia? She didnt know Shannon was like she is. And her desiding what to do next is her desision. We have no reason to start an angry cancel mob on Giulia she did nothing wrong. I know she doesnt agree with any of CSAs antics that is for sure.

    • Well how close she and Shannon were, all of the shoutouts and plugging is a really bad look...

  • I cannot. 😢

  • As a native thank you so much for covering this. Anything with kids can affect anyone, but especially us since it's our children. This shit isn't old. It's still so fresh and raw and recent and with no apologies or attempts made to make up for what has been done to our peoples.

  • Let me premise this by saying that obviously BLM was an important movement and george floyds death was a tragedy. But i'd like to point out that 1, ONE, black man was killed by an officer and it sparked international protest and activism. And yet TWO HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN CHILDREN, these are people's babies, were ripped from their families, stripped of their culture and humanity, abused, neglected, shamed, some assaulted or worse, and then tossed away in a pit like trash, and I barely see anyone talking about it. It's disgusting. As a Canadian i am even more ashamed that our government took what, like two or three days? Just to LOWER a GOD DAMN FLAG?? If you really need evidence of how little our government and much of the public really cares about Indigenous people, here you go. 215 pieces of evidence for ya. Fucking hell. This wasn't just a cultural genocide. They keep using that phrase, implying that the colonizers were just trying to get rid of their culture, not the people. At this point, I don't give a shit what their intentions were, let's take a look at the actions. They said they were gonna "kill the Indian in the child", but they just killed the child. This was a full-on genocide, and in large part, it targeted those most vulnerable. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the numbers were over 10,000, and that's just really sad.

    • i fully agree one black man doesn't equal hundreds of children who were likely killed for horrific reasons.

  • That's my home town where these children were found. Residential schools are a horrible part of Canadian history and the fact the pope won't even apologize is just disgusting.

  • AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

  • Really hope you respond to Emily’s video on creepshowart

  • I just found out you are friends with Shannon. I knew there was a reason I didn't like you. Go delete your brain

    • @Lydia I agree people are not guilty by association. I am going off gut feelings here. I have gotten bad vibes from Ready to Glare even though I enjoy/agree with the words in her videos. Shannon exposed herself and validated my gut feeling ages ago and to find out Ready to Glare was a friend isn't a surprise. After seeing Ready to Glare's response video I still stand by my feelings, she didn't even acknowledge that other people are victims and her public support of Shannon very well could have helped silence them if other people didn't do the work to hold Shannon accountable

    • @Homulilly I knew she was Batshit toxic 12 months ago and that was just from ready her public lies, manipulations, gaslighting etc that she did from her official accounts so I really don't get why this is such a shock.

    • @Beth I have never met Shannon or spoken to her IRL but I still knew she was a very toxic bully 6-12 months ago so her her friends should have been able to see it. I saw Ready to Glare's reply video and I still get bad vibes from her too. She didn't acknowledge, even in passing, that there are other victims or suggest people go show them support etc. I appreciate your reply but I still feel this woman has her own skeletons waiting to come out too

    • @Local2s qu33r haha, I enjoyed your passion and despite the insults I take your point

    • You selfish SOB, this video is about cultural genocide and the murder of indigenous children. Comment this elsewhere. You sack and a half.

  • In St. Ignace Michigan the Museum of Ojibwa Culture has an installation that covers the history of these schools. Especially poignant was seeing pictures of very very young boys in their native dress with long hair juxtaposed next to their "school" pictures with their heads shaved in school uniforms. I wanted to vomit. They shaved their heads, ripped them away from their families, stripped them of their beautiful culture because they needed to be "civilized" and "Christianized." Imagine you being in kindergarten and this happening to you. My god the tramua. And it wasn't until the late 70's in the US that laws were passed to give parents the rights to say no you can't put my child in one of these schools. Crazy. Sorry to rant but it makes me so angry.

  • So are you going to say anything about cr33psh0w @rt being e-xp0s-ed on l.0.lc-0w?

    • This video is about the genocide and murder of indigenous children, you’re a selfish coward for commenting that on this post. Have some respect for the departed. Also if she doesn’t want to because of what it’s done to her mental health you have no right to ask that.

  • update: they found 104 more in manitoba sometime in the last few days. i get the feeling this is just the tip of the iceberg.

    • It’s barely the tip. Natives have been demanding change for decades, demanding an investigation and an inquiry. We got the TRC but it did absolutely nothing but put a bandaid over a massive gaping wound on the communities. There are likely thousands. Everyone has a relative who had several siblings never come back from the system

  • Yeah we should figure this whole thing out. I'm voting it was cultists.

  • This is harrowing. You should look up the awful history of the unmarried mother and baby homes here in Ireland, the last of which stayed in operation until the late 90s. Similar story to this for which the ripple effect is still very much a part of modern day Ireland. One such home was found to have the bodies of 800 babies buried in a septic tank.

  • thank you so much for talking about this. i haven’t really seen anyone talk about this especially the news. indigenous people are always swept under the rug involving these kinds of things. so thank you 🌸

  • Do your research or at least get more insight than the bare minimum before you make a video about this. There’s plenty of information regarding Native American boarding schools and how the USA and Canada stole children to reform native Americans. I suggest this documentary. www.pbs.org/video/unspoken-americas-native-american-boarding-schools-oobt1r/

  • Also, there is a documentary called “we were children”. It is a documentary about the survivors of residential schools and the horrors they had to endure.

  • I’ve been seeing so much support from youtubers lately and it makes me very happy. Not even here I’m Canada is it being talked about enough. As an indigenous person myself and as a granddaughter of a survivor of residential school, I am outraged and sad and so disappointed. To this day, there is still active genocide of indigenous people and our culture. Forced sterilization, the starlight tours, etc... I could go on and on. Racism is alive and well in Canada. Edit: unfortunately, I don’t believe there will ever be justice provided by the Canadian government for our people. This horrific genocide was referred to as a “dark part of Canada’s history”. For years I’ve listened to people tell us to “get over it” and “it’s part of the past”. It isn’t. No words can express my heartbreak and anger. Indigenous matters are always swept under the rug and left to be ignored.

  • What’s your take on the creep show art situation? I was kinda sad hearing about it tbh.

    • This post is about the cultural genocide and murder of children, keep your drama elsewhere. Let the children rest peacefully, acknowledge their suffering. It’s selfish of you to comment this when this video was made to bring awareness to the issue. Also she’s taking a mental health break, let her be it’s clearly hurt her too.

  • Catholic Church strikes again... They disgust me... They are "suppose" to serve god not S.A. children .. like wtf? And they act like they are modern and call the rest barbaric? Everyone that played a role in this will Rot in hell..

  • Poor Julia, she sounds so done with the world, I feel so bad for her. I know that feeling and it's horrible. I'm sure this was another hard video to get through but thank you for making it known to the rest of the world, I wouldn't have been aware otherwise. 🖤

  • as someone who's family members went to residential schools, I feel a little grossed out by using the for views. the title of the video is sensationalizing peoples traumas and seems vague to get as many views as you could.

  • thank you for talking about this. it seems like americans often see canada as this nicely boring country, but it was literally build on genocide and all colonizers still benefit from these colonial institutions. and indigenous people still suffer because of them, both due to present actions and to generational trauma. the last residential school closed in 1996. 4 years after I was born and i'm still a relatively young adult.the repercussions and the wounds of the schools are still fresh.

  • Thank you so much for covering this and addressing it!! The Canadian Government and the Catholic church should be ashamed of themselves. They forced themselves into indigenous homes, ripped these children from their families and forced into these schools. They were beaten for speaking their native language. the children were r**ed and S/A'ed by the priests and nuns. The kids knew that sometimes when you go with the priests or nuns, you'll never be seen again. Children born of r**e by the priests were thrown in ovens. They were malnourished. The children who ran away from the schools to try to find their way home most likely didn't make it home because they couldn't stand the unruly abuse, No child should. We have to stop glossing over a lot of the bad parts. Our indigenous community is still struggling, there are still reservations that don't have clean water IN CANADA.

  • Thank you for bringing light to the topic. It has seemed like the US hasn’t cared. We need everyone talking about this

  • So many people in the town I live in have been putting up huge yard pieces with 215 orange hearts and things like “SHAME ON CANADA” and “WE WILL LEARN THEIR NAMES”. It’s so good to see, I just wish that Trudeau would give a shit.

  • you tube crush or what

  • @ Ready to glare Is your name Giulia? Saw it on another video. Are you ok? I don't think you've been strange in this video. I think you are human. You sound as if you are crying. It's because you're empathetic so although objectively, of course the story is the major issue, I feel that in this particular video -it shows courage to bring that issue to light when you obviously are deeply affected by it. I just wanted to say that. As for other commentators, the things Native or Indigenous ppl have gone through -certainly not the first time this type of tragedy has occurred, I am sorry for all those who have been affected -mainly the survivors, families- sorry for your losses. Including the Abenaki tribes in Vermont where the sterilization of the women was performed without consent as a type of genocide in the 1920's.

  • My life has been ruined by what happend to my family. I want to kill myself everyday because I deal with the generational trauma, shame, and poverty this caused my family. My family memeber Nellie Bonnetplume is on the list of indigenous kids who never made it home.

  • ... this is Uhm very tramatising

    • Imagine having a family who endured it, that’s how we live. This is the knowledge we live with, that trauma is what our parents have passed on to us. That experience was taught to us at a young age. Imagine the ripple effect the trauma has, that’s literally how we exist and have for over a century. We couldn’t raise our own children for over 100 years.

  • So random but it popped onto my mind - You talk a lot about women being criminals as well as men - what are your opinions on the gang of women who accused Marilyn Manson without any evidence and basically everyone dropped the ball on him, when their stories are full of holes and are ghostwritten by the same person? Rumor has it that ERW is doing to Manson what Am*er H*ard did to Depp, they are both friends, and Manson and Johnny are like bffs. I didn't see many people talk about this

  • You're the first that I know of, that has reported on the 215 children. And this was just at one school. Both my parents had gone. My mom for a year, and my dad until he turned 13 years old. They both suffer to this day from those scars of what they endured in that hell hole. A lot of these sick bastards are still alive. The nuns, the pastors, anyone of faith that was involved in that place, were cause for a majority of these deaths. We've been talking for years about this, but no one believed us. We were told that we're making a big deal and that we needed to shut up because it happened hundreds of years ago Residential schools over a hundred years ago, the last one shut down 4 and a half decades ago. It isn't "history" when it continued until the 60's. Thank you, for talking about it. I know not a lot of channels like yours don't like to talk about Indigenous or Black issues, and it's honestly sad. People are just so focused on petty drama or things like that when there are true and real issues that need to be talked about.

  • There's a story about Queen Elizabeth visiting one of these residential schools and a few students are taken on a picnic with her and then they're never heard from again.

  • ......... How and when??........

    • The last one was closed 1996

    • 150,000 is just the number of students who we knew attended the larger, government known and church operated schools

    • Starting in the 1800s even before it was supported by the federal government, England etc. Once it was made compulsory there was over 100 of these schools across the country

    • For over 100 years, with support of the government, the churches and the Indian act.

  • I’m a member of Tk’emlúps Te Secwépemc. I would like to thank you for using your voice to cover the genocide of the indigenous peoples of North America. My community is devastated. The devastation goes beyond Kamloops. Indigenous children from all over the interior of British Columbia were sent to this school. I am a granddaughter, and great granddaughter of residential school survivors. Their trauma is inter generational but I am here because of their resilience. The children at these schools suffered neglect, poor nutrition, mental, emotional, physical and sexual abuse. These 215 are just the tip of the iceberg. I ask all allies to educate themselves o. The history of what happen to Indigenous North Americans. Educate others as well. Listen to us.

  • I also heard these children were savagely beaten for simply speaking in their native tongue. I hope you are ok Giulia. Was just thinking about you. 🙏💓🌹

    • Some schools had chains, torture rooms and places where “bad” children could be “punished”

    • They were even made to eat their own vomit if the rotten food made them sick

  • THANK U FOR SPEAKING ABT THIS, i am native and i never see anyone from youtube talking about this (of course people do but it never gets big) and it really does help, people need to be educated more about us. people from OUR generation need to know about this. Thank you. it means a lot. This has opened a lot of eyes.

  • Thank you for covering this. It is so important for the world to learn of this horror the catholic church and government put upon my people. Please do not believe they were killed by accident and please don't underestimate the level of abuse these children endured. There are so, so, so many more that have not been found yet. Brace yourselves for so much more to come. Thank you again for bringing light to this outside of Canada!

  • Thank you for covering this. Im dreading when they will find these kids in the USA boarding schools. I'm half Navajo and grew up on the rez. You see that no one cares about "the indian" and no one listens to the injustices told. But thank you for speaking on it and I hope you continue to do so. If anyone wants to bring awareness, you can change your profile picture to an orange color. It's for the kids. Also join any MMIW&M pages. Alot of Indigenous people are going missing and nothing is being done about it. No one is listening to the families. 🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡🧡

  • And Canada is STILL praised and painted as this perfect country where people are so nice and no conflict. We're rewarded for this and it's SICK!

  • 92 years old and my grandmother couldn’t speak on what happened to her at the Mohawk Institute. She just passed last month, Walpole Island band member. I’m almost glad she isn’t here to have to relive her horrors as we continue to find bodies. Thank you for covering this 🧡

  • You gonna talk about creep show art

  • More people need to talk about this. But people have no clue that in Canada this happened because "oh it's just Canada they never did anything bad!" But we did

  • Okay...so how did they die tho? Wtf?!

  • Our government doesn’t care about the Indigenous communities. Newfoundland is taking away people’s status cards (my bf and his sister lost theirs), there are still communities without clean drinking water, and the government is still fighting against compensating families and survivors. If they truly cared they would stop preaching and start doing. Our government still hasn’t compelled the church to release their records, sad and pathetic.

  • I previously commented; ignorant af. I understand better now. @stephanie harlowe put a video out explaining how this happened better. And I am so sorry if I offended anyone with my previous comment.
